SEXTON LAW

Blair is an experienced litigator who has represented clients in a variety of legal matters, including complex consolidated and class action litigation at the trial and appellate levels, as well as insurance, occupational injury, workers’ compensation, employment, construction, environmental, toxic tort, chemical exposure, asbestos, hearing loss, naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM), and estate planning matters.  Blair also advises corporate clients, including industrial and commercial contractors, on legal and regulatory matters.  Her previous experience includes work as an associate attorney for a New Orleans law firm focusing on civil defense litigation, as an HR business partner for a Baton Rouge industrial construction firm, and as a business and data analyst for a Baton Rouge human resource development consulting company with public and private sector clients.

 

While at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Blair was a member of the Order of the Coif and was Production Editor of the Louisiana Law Review.  Prior to law school, she simultaneously obtained two bachelor’s degrees from Louisiana State University in three years, graduating with College Honors, was awarded the University Medal, and received the June Martin and Walter Rudd Honors Thesis Award.  Outside of her work, Blair is a member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge and of the John James Audubon Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
